Ya'an Panda Performance Center / ZXD Architects
Briefly

The architects designed a venue consisting of two 'cradle' shaped structures, incorporating natural elements and a unique layout to enhance audience experience and engagement.
The main lobby acts as a sunken square, creating an immersive entrance for visitors, fostering enthusiasm, and providing a buffer zone from Ya’an’s rainy climate.
The auditorium wraps around audience seating to deliver an immersive performance experience with 1200 seats dedicated to panda-related performances, emphasizing environmental harmony.
The building façade features perforated aluminum panels designed to evoke a 'furry' ambiance, reinforcing the theme of pandas while adapting creatively to its surroundings.
