Walmart says customers should discard recalled chicken broth
Briefly

Walmart has announced a recall of its Great Value Family Size Chicken Broth sold across 242 stores in nine Southern states due to packaging issues that may compromise quality.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration confirmed the recall, affecting over 2,000 cases, due to a potential risk of broth spoiling before its March 2026 expiration.
Customers who bought the affected chicken broth in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, or Texas are urged to discard the product.
Despite the recall, there have been no illness reports associated with this product, and Walmart is collaborating with their supplier to investigate the issue.
