Wahlburgers, the casual dining burger chain founded by the Wahlberg brothers, is set to close the majority of its locations as Hy-Vee ends their partnership. This transition will see 79 in-store Wahlburgers converted back to Hy-Vee Market Grille restaurants, diminishing Wahlburgers' presence to about 40 locations. Though Hy-Vee did not specify reasons for the transition, it announced the new Market Grilles will feature a breakfast and burger-focused menu. Randy Sharpe, the CEO of Wahlburgers, noted that the chain aims to concentrate on its standalone restaurants instead of grocery store locations.

Hy-Vee is transitioning all its in-store Wahlburgers locations back to Market Grille restaurants as part of a strategy to revamp its dining options.
