Police are investigating a series of violent burglaries in Queens, where a group of at least nine suspects are accused of attacking victims in their homes. Their latest incident involved a 37-year-old man being brutally beaten with a hammer and stabbed after the group broke into his residence, resulting in severe injuries.
The first burglary occurred on the morning of January 1, where the group broke a living room window and stole a $25,000 bracelet without causing any injuries, contrasting sharply with the violence seen in the second incident later that week.
In the follow-up burglary on January 5, the suspects not only smashed a window to gain entry but also violently assaulted a resident, leading to serious injuries and the theft of jewelry and clothing before fleeing the scene in a gray Toyota Sienna minivan.
