Venomous tiger snake slithers up driver's leg on Melbourne freeway
Briefly

Victoria police responded to a bizarre situation when a woman experienced a tiger snake slithering up her leg while she was driving on a freeway.
The snake curled up under the steering wheel, and remarkably, the woman managed to fend it off and navigate through traffic to safety.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed that there were no signs of a bite, and the woman was taken to hospital for further observation although she was stable.
Tim Nanninga, a snake catcher, described it as a terrifying experience for the woman and noted that he rarely receives such unusual calls.
