Ubisoft has delayed the release of its forthcoming game Assassin's Creed Shadows to March 20, allowing an extra month for development and player feedback integration.
The company had previously postponed the game's launch from September to February, but decided on additional development time to better meet community expectations and quality.
Following a strategic review, Ubisoft is exploring various options to enhance stakeholder value and plans significant cost reductions exceeding EUR 200 million by FY2025-26.
Net bookings for the third quarter are expected to be around EUR 300 million, reflecting disappointing holiday sales and the impact of game discontinuations.
