The event brings together student, amateur, and professional tuba and euphonium players from ages 8 to 80 to celebrate the season, dressed in festive attire.
Conducted by Dr. Christian Wilhjelm, the 51st Annual Tuba Christmas featured around 300 musicians performing beloved Christmas songs at Rockefeller Center.
Started in 1974 as a tribute to William J. Bell, Tuba Christmas has grown to take place in over 200 cities worldwide.
The atmosphere was filled with holiday cheer, where audience members were encouraged to sing along as low brass tones filled the air.
