This $1,100 IKEA BILLY Hack Is Unlike Any I've Ever Seen (It Completely Transforms This Studio!)
Briefly

Olamilekan created a "bedroom" in the back left corner of the apartment by arranging a box shape out of six brown IKEA BILLYs. In other words, it's a room within a room. "I love that I can now sleep in a separate room and not feel exposed to the rest of the space," he says. "It gives me a sense of privacy and comfort, making the whole studio feel more like a home."
His best advice for working with IKEA furniture? "Make sure your measurements are precise, especially if you're working with prefabricated pieces," he says. "It'll save you a lot of time and headaches later."
Olamilekan also recommends using plywood as a helper when needed. "Things like uneven floors or walls can pop up unexpectedly, but don't let them throw you off," he says. "There's always a solution, like using plywood to level things out, for example."
