"I just remember not really liking it and not being excited," Tan said, reflecting on her short-lived auditing career. She found fulfillment in her family's business instead.
"That was where our childhood was," she recalled, reminiscing about her early days at the family eatery, which shaped her passion for cuisine and community.
"It kind of ignited a passion and a fire in me like, hey, you know what? Maybe I can do more things with my life," Tan expressed after adapting her family's business during the pandemic.
By launching a food delivery service during lockdown, Tan not only adapted to adverse circumstances but discovered her capability to lead and innovate in her family business.
