Scoop: House Democrats blitz dozens of Republicans over Project 2025
Briefly

"All of the data we have shows that Project 2025 just has huge interest and traction, more so than virtually every other issue," Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.) stated, emphasizing the effectiveness of Democrats' strategy to link Republican candidates to the controversial plan as a key focus for voters in the run-up to the election.
"Here's this blueprint they were stupid enough to publish where we can point to specific pages," Huffman remarked, asserting that the concrete proposals within Project 2025 provide Democrats with tangible evidence to criticize Republican candidates ahead of the elections.
"The DCCC is holding [Republicans] accountable for their extremism and unpopular policies, making sure they are front of mind for voters as they cast their ballots," said DCCC spokesperson Viet Shelton, highlighting the Democrats' strategy of linking Republicans to Project 2025 in order to galvanize voter turnout.
National Republican Congressional Committee spokesperson Will Reinert countered the Democrats' campaign efforts by saying, 'When Democrats recognized their own open-border, pro-crime agenda, they were forced to redirect voter attention toward Project 2025,' indicating an ongoing back-and-forth in political messaging.
