Private Residence in Goto Islands / Souta Yoriki Design Office
Briefly

The architects designed windows in each room to face the beautiful Abunze Coast, ensuring that the stunning scenery can be appreciated from within.
Natural materials were prioritized for the renovation, and a simple spatial composition was chosen to create a warm and modern atmosphere.
A large central living room was incorporated to serve as a hub for the residence and guest house, fostering communication among users.
The design blurs the boundaries between the indoor and outdoor spaces, enhancing the connection to the natural beauty of Fukue Island.
