Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz's office reported that Bettie Etienne, 37, died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing North Main Street in Brockton.
Cruz's office stated that first responders transported Bettie Etienne to Good Samaritan Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, following a 911 report of the incident.
Investigators found that a driver in a Dodge Caravan struck Etienne as she crossed North Main Street, with security footage showing a green light for the vehicle.
The driver, a 20-year-old man, remained at the scene; however, the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is still ongoing.
