Panthers RB Brooks again tears ACL in right knee
Briefly

Carolina Panthers rookie running back Jonathon Brooks has suffered a torn ACL in his right knee, marking his second such injury in just 13 months. This occurred during a non-contact play in the first quarter of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Brooks, drafted in the second round of the 2024 draft, had made his NFL debut just three games prior following a long rehabilitation stint after his first ACL tear last November. He played minimally in his initial games, carrying the ball twice for 7 yards in his debut and six times for 18 yards in week two.
