Nvidia's stock has surged, leading to challenges for the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Foundation, which must give away $120 million this year, up from $59.7 million.
"They need to be putting more money out the door," said FoundationMark's John Seitz, underscoring the pressures on the Huang Foundation due to skyrocketing assets.
"The Huang Foundation supports higher education, public health and STEM initiatives... ensuring that its resources will continue to support critical causes well into the future," said a spokesperson.
With Nvidia stocks climbing nearly 200% this year, the foundation's giving requirements will increase yet again in 2025, reflecting the challenges of rapid asset growth.
