Murphy pointed out the vast number of drones operating daily, stating, "the thousands, if not tens of thousands of drones that are up in the air every day," and acknowledged that not all of these activities are understood, given the recent technological advancements in detection.
The governor requested urgent attention to the matter, saying, "We must address that sooner than later, and New Jersey's not immune," signaling a need for enhanced protection and regulation surrounding drone activity.
