The Welcome Center features the sauropod dinosaur 'Gnatalie', a mural by Barbara Carrasco, and facilitates visitor orientation with transparent views to Exposition Park.
Designed with abundant native landscaping, the LA County Community Plaza offers green spaces, including a sustainable garden and an amphitheater, promoting outdoor engagement.
The glass facade of the new wing provides a transparent connection to the Commons Theater and enhances visibility of the museum’s activities from the exterior.
