Nearly 80,000 Anker speakers recalled due to fire hazard
Briefly

Anker is recalling its Soundcore and PowerConf Bluetooth Speakers after receiving 33 reports of lithium-ion battery overheating, with some cases resulting in smoke or fire.
The recall affects models A3102016, A3302011, and A3302031 sold exclusively on Amazon in 2023, with 69,000 sold in the US and over 9,700 in Canada.
Affected speakers can be identified via an SN code located on the underside. Consumers should check Anker's website for details and free replacements.
CPSC advises consumers who own the recalled speakers to stop using them immediately, turn them off, and disconnect from power sources.
