As soon as I could, I started working... Before I'd even graduated, I'd already lined up an internship at the local newspaper. My journey into the workforce began early, reflecting the strong work ethic instilled in me from a young age, and it was important to me to contribute financially, even as a teenager. I balanced jobs through my education, which laid a strong foundation for my career.
Around Christmastime that year, we chatted about what was important to us. We decided we'd rather have less money if it meant having more time with our three children... Adjusting to a 4-day workweek has not come without challenges, particularly with budgeting. However, we believe this choice enhances our family life and allows us to create lasting memories together.
