Since early 2020, the discovery of Telegram bots that can "undress" photos has alarmingly escalated, allowing for the creation of nonconsensual deepfake images, threatening privacy.
"We're talking about a significant, orders-of-magnitude increase in the number of people who are clearly actively using and creating this kind of content," Ajder states.
More than 50 bots were identified that facilitate the creation of explicit content, with over 4 million total monthly users collectively, showcasing the pervasive nature of this issue.
