Officers from the 75th Precinct responded to a 911 call of two people needing help inside their home in a two-story house located next to a daycare.
When officers arrived, they found the victims, 91-year-old Roosevelt Simmons and 66-year-old Jacqueline Delyons, lying on the kitchen floor with their necks slashed.
A source familiar with the preliminary investigation identified Simmons and Delyons as father and daughter. So far, no arrests have been made.
Police said Simmons and Delyons lived at the address. The investigation remains ongoing.
