While in a separate incident, a Japanese woman died at the scene when she collided with a truck on her bicycle in the city centre. On Saturday night, a man in his 40s died after being struck by a car on the M8 motorway in Co Cork near Mitchelstown. He is believed to be of Eastern European descent but living in the north Cork town."
