Leader of Catholic church in Ireland criticises social media stars for 'hijacking Christianity'

Archbishop Eamon Martin emphasized that social media influencers often hijack religion for personal agendas, distorting essential messages of Christianity which should promote harmony instead of discord.

During a Christmas carol service, Dr. Martin called for more positive Catholic role models, suggesting the need to combat negative influences prevalent among youth, especially from celebrities.
