David Roth, a forecaster with the Weather Service, stated that this will be a 'welcome to winter' for many who haven't yet experienced lake-effect snow this season.
With such severe conditions expected, major highways like Interstate 81 and Interstate 90 are going to face hazardous conditions, making travel difficult and dangerous.
