The official opening of the iconic Dublin pub Doyle's Corner will take place this Wednesday night, where the new owner Gavin James is expected to pull pints and perform.
This is a really positive story at a time when there is doom and gloom in the Irish hospitality industry with pubs and restaurants closing, as more than 2,000 pubs have shut down since 2005.
Gavin James, who grew up in Dublin and started his music career in local pubs, has amassed a significant following across Europe and beyond.
