GM reportedly ends gas-powered Chevy Blazer
Briefly

The Chevy Blazer's combustion engine variant is set to be discontinued, with the transition to an all-electric lineup commencing with the 2025 model year. Both the gas and EV versions of the Blazer have been produced at GM's Mexican facility, which will now be retooled to focus solely on electric vehicles. This transition marks a significant shift, as Chevy will no longer offer a two-row combustion SUV in North America, despite still branding a three-row SUV for the Chinese market. Sales of the Blazer have declined significantly since its redesign in 2019.
As GM Authority notes, a discontinued gas-powered Blazer means Chevy no longer carries a two-row combustion SUV in North America.
Both the Blazer EV and the gas-powered Chevy Blazer have been assembled at GM's Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico, but with the gas Blazer now sunsetting with the 2025 model year.
