Tony Slattery, aged 65, has passed away today, Tuesday morning, following a heart attack on Sunday evening, announced his long-term partner Mark Michael Hutchinson.
In 2020, Slattery released a BBC documentary called What's The Matter With Tony Slattery?, where he and his partner spoke to experts on mental health and addiction.
Comedian Alexander Fox remembered Slattery as a kind and thoughtful person he met at the Edinburgh Fringe, highlighting Slattery's friendly nature.
Writer Paul Carmichael expressed deep sadness over Slattery's death, stating, "My lovely, lovely chum. I shall miss you so very much."
