Richard McGreevy, 28, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to making threats against Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald and Garda Commissioner Drew Harris earlier in the year.
The threats were serious enough to warrant legal action, leading to McGreevy's appearance via videolink from Cloverhill Prison.
