Oglethorpe Road in Dagenham will face an eight-day closure from January 20 to January 27 for essential gas works, impacting traffic and residential access.
The road closure will restrict all traffic except for access from both Heathway and Wood Lane, with a complete ban from numbers 27 to 53.
Resident permit holder zones will be suspended during the gas works, and a temporary Blue Badge bay will be available for disabled access.
Pedestrian access will be limited; only the east side footway will allow entry, and the west side between 27 and 53 will be prohibited.
