Shichun Lin, 58, was arrested following the murder of homeless man Kan Shing Cheung, 68, who was found fatally stabbed in Chinatown on November 7.
Detectives' investigation connected Lin to the murder. However, the motive is still unknown, and it's unclear if the victim and suspect had previous contact.
