Bing Video Search Testing Categorizing Videos
Briefly

Bing is testing a different presentation for their video results: they now show 4 boxes at the top. The first shows the top result, while the other 3 show three results each for subtopics. For me, this is a bit too much information at first glance.
This change aims to categorize videos better within search results, presenting users with trending, related categories, and short videos—effectively improving user experience by expanding options.
Bing's new testing approach indicates a shift towards a more organized video search interface, potentially leading to better user engagement as it showcases diverse content based on categories.
While the intention might be good, the execution could overwhelm users with choices, which raises the question of whether simplifying results is a better long-term strategy.
