Aquapark Sport and Relaxation Center Kyjov / SENAA architekti
Briefly

The Aquapark Sport and Relaxation Center is designed to provide a maximum experience of sports and relaxation in a setting that respects its historical surroundings. The modernization of the outdoor swimming pool, alongside the construction of a new indoor facility, enhances the existing structures while integrating seamlessly with Kyjov Park's lush, 100-year-old trees.
The architectural design of the center features a linear arrangement that aligns with Mezivodí Street, focusing on creating a forecourt that serves both pool-goers and passers-by. This strategic placement, coupled with open outdoor terraces, encourages community interaction and enhances the accessibility of this urban oasis.
With its full-surface glazing and thoughtful interior layout, the indoor pool chamber is oriented toward outdoor greenery, effectively blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor experiences. This design element fosters a deep connection between visitors and the natural environment, enriching their time spent at the facility.
The proposal for the Aquapark also emphasizes gradual development, suggesting a vision for growth that will unfold over the next decade. It aims to adapt the pool experience to meet evolving community needs while maintaining its respectful relationship with the historical context of the site.
