Geani Bogonos, 42, was charged with two burglaries in Chadwell Heath, where he stole a total of £35,000 worth of jewellery and cash.
The first burglary in Mansted Gardens occurred on December 8, resulting in the theft of a safe containing jewellery and cash valued at £25,000.
A second burglary followed on December 15 in Belfairs Drive, with gold jewellery worth £10,000 and an additional £100 in cash being stolen.
Bogonos appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on December 17, where he pleaded guilty to both offences before being remitted for sentencing.
