James Edward Fitch, 54, is accused of child molestation in Ravenswood City School District. A second victim reported inappropriate touching and discomfort with his actions.
District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe reported that Fitch is under investigation for potential additional victims, and if convicted, he could face a life sentence.
The allegations surfaced when Fitch's wife discovered inappropriate communications with a seventh grader, revealing a pattern of abuse over the course of a year.
Following the initial reports, Fitch was placed on leave from his position as a campus relations coordinator, while the investigation by police continues.
