Healing from trauma is often an invisible process-so much so that we often don't realize how far we have come until we look back at what we have overcome.
However, there are certain forms of healing that are often overlooked or undervalued. I've found that healing often works better when we incorporate small, manageable practices into our daily lives.
These small signs, when practiced consistently, can be just as representative of your healing-if not more so-than occasional, larger signs.
Some commonly overlooked signs include advocating for yourself, saying 'no,' and validating your feelings.
