Miami detectives are investigating two shootings that occurred in Little Haiti on a Monday afternoon, injuring a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man. The boy was shot near Northwest 2nd Avenue and 56th Street, and although he suffered a gunshot wound, he remained alert while being transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old victim was brought into the same hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot. Coincidentally, a bullet-riddled car was discovered on I-95 around the same time, which is being examined as a possible link to the incidents under investigation.
