As inflation continues to erode paychecks, unionized food service workers at LoanDepot Park, home of the Miami Marlins, have reached a tentative deal with their employer to lift their hourly pay to $20 minimum by the end of a newly negotiated four-year contract.UNITE HERE Local 355 announced this week that its deal with Levy Restaurants of Chicago calls for members to receive a minimum hourly pay increase of nearly $10 over the life of the contract, which is scheduled to expire April 1, 2026, according to the union.
