U.S. Coast Guard crews used a variety of assets, including the HC-144 patrol plane, to search for a 20-year-old man who went overboard from the Liberty of the Seas cruise ship near the Bahamas.
Royal Caribbean immediately launched a search and rescue effort alongside the Coast Guard, with their Care Team providing support to the guest's family. They have no additional details to share.
According to the Coast Guard, assets involved in the search include the Cutter Seneca and an HC-144 patrol plane.
