COVID-19 Raises Dementia Risk Older people who get COVID-19 are at higher risk of developing or worsening dementia, new research suggests.Those who live through COVID-19 have a higher risk for early- or late-onset dementia or a progressive decline in thinking skills compared with uninfected people, according to a study published in JAMA Neurology.
