Goldman introduces bill to expand reproductive healthcare centers
Briefly

The 'Abortion Care Enhancement and Support Services (ACCESS) Act' aims to address the overload on reproductive health care centers by establishing a grant program to boost service providers' capacity, facilities, staff, and resources to support the influx of women from states where abortion is restricted.
The legislation seeks to allocate $200M annually through 2028 to enhance health care providers' ability to expand their facilities, invest in more exam, operating and recovery rooms, medical supplies, and telehealth services for enhanced patient care, educational resources, interpretation, and counseling.
