This move coincides with the relocation of HSN's broadcast hub to QVC's headquarters in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The company is shifting strategies to position itself as a live social shopping entity, particularly focusing on platforms like TikTok to drive online sales. Despite recent workforce reductions, the company aims to evolve and increase engagement on digital channels.
We made the very difficult decision to eliminate a number of roles. In the U.S., this impacts approximately 900 team members across HSN, QVC US and our Global Shared Services.
This step in the reorganization is part of our strategy to grow by becoming a live social shopping company.
