Octave, a San Francisco-based startup, has raised $5.5 million to advance its AI-driven go-to-market platform, designed to optimize marketing tools for businesses. Frustrated with traditional sales tools like HubSpot and Salesforce, cofounder Zach Vidibor aimed to create a more user-friendly experience. The platform utilizes AI innovations such as GPT and Claude to generate insights and customer profiles. Octave plans to hire additional staff including engineers and product designers to further develop its subscription-based services, which offer a free tier and flexible paid options starting at $150 a month.
"I spent 15 years on all these sales teams and the tools, they just suck energy from you, they don't help you," said Octave's cofounder and CEO, Zach Vidibor.
"Think of GPT and Claude and Gemini and DeepSeek," Vidibor said about how the platform harnesses AI. "Those are the engine, and we've built a car around it that drives on a very specific track."
