Adobe is acquiring Semrush in an all-cash transaction valued at about $1.9 billion, expected to close in the first half of 2026 subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals. Semrush acquired Third Door Media, publisher of MarTech, in October 2024. Adobe's customer experience orchestration and AI-agentic content supply chain will be combined with Semrush's search and digital brand visibility capabilities. Company leaders describe the transaction as a strategic fit that will create an end-to-end customer experience platform and a unified brand visibility option for marketers, aiming to accelerate product integration and customer growth.
