For August 2024, the average CPM rate for a 60-second ad spot was $21.25. This represents a minor decrease compared to the previous month's CPM rate of $21.93 in July 2024 and was also marginally below the prior year August 2023 CPM rate of $22.10.
The three categories where advertisers can effectively tap into highly engaged audiences at more than accessible CPM rates include True Crime, Sports, and Fiction, which averaged around the high teens to low 20s in August.
