Google Ads has recently made two significant updates regarding advertiser verification. First, it has reorganized its help center articles for improved clarity, effective November 2024, but this change does not affect the existing enforcement of its verification policy. Secondly, starting February 5, 2025, Google will eliminate the need for certification for advertisers running e-vignette ads in Europe and will modify the requirements for ads targeting France concerning business identifiers. Enforcement of these updates will occur over eight weeks following the effective date.
