The Tories have been launching a full frontal assault on their opponents in the opening weeks of the digital campaign. But Labour's TikTok dominance is proving a hit with the yoof as they clap back in the meme wars.
A new report finds Britain's current lobbying rules are (surprise, surprise) hot trash. Polls are dropping every 15 minutes, the manifestos are getting ripped to shreds, and a rainforest full of dodgy leaflets are being dropped into letterboxes. The snappy genners is in full flow.
Local party groups and candidates have been spending plenty on the sidelines. TikTok has entered the Westminster mainstream despite a ban on paid political advertising ... and sometimes it's what the parties aren't spending on which can be the most revealing.
