A survey from YPulse reveals that 73% of U.S. adults aged 13 to 39 oppose a TikTok ban, despite concerns over data security and addiction.
MaryLeigh Bliss from YPulse stated, 'The group surveyed has a more positive view of social media than a negative one, even while being aware of the drawbacks.'
64% of respondents expressed they would miss watching TikTok content, while 58% would specifically miss their favorite creators, reflecting deep cultural ties.
Bliss noted, 'There's financial repercussions as well, whether it's a side hustle or they're a social media manager - there's a lot of different ways that could be.'
