Robert Hernandez, a 38-year-old California forestry employee, was arrested on suspicion of arson after allegedly igniting five brush fires in NorCal, raising public trust concerns.

The agency confirmed that Hernandez started the blazes while off duty between August 14 and September 15, impacting areas near Geyserville, Healdsburg, and Windsor.
