The fire destroyed the restaurant and affected around 50 employees, with Haines noting the overwhelming response from the community: "My son received more than 700 emails from patrons devastated about the news."
Haines believes the fire was intentionally set, claiming, "Someone came by and torched it," as he seeks surveillance images from nearby businesses to aid investigators.
Pizzamania, a community fixture for over 50 years, garnered grief from patrons on social media, highlighting how deeply it was woven into the fabric of Whittier.
