The Dubai Government Human Resources Department has approved a remote work and flexible working hours policy for public sector employees for Ramadan, beginning on 1 March 2025. This policy, guided by directives from Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, allows for better working conditions during the holy month, with employees completing 5.5 hours from Monday to Thursday and 3 hours on Friday. They can also work remotely two days a week, pending supervisor approval, and private sector companies are encouraged to adopt similar measures to align with the 'Year of Community.'
