Marks and Spencer (M&S) has temporarily halted all online orders and app transactions following a recent cyber attack that disrupted payment processes. Customers experienced issues over the weekend, leading to an apology from the company on April 22. M&S implemented minor changes in-store to protect its customers and operations. The company reassured clients that while the online purchase option is paused, stores remain open, and its team, supported by cyber experts, is working diligently to restore online services.
As part of our proactive management of a cyber incident, we have made the decision to pause taking orders via our M&S.com websites and apps.
We are truly sorry for this inconvenience. Our stores are open to welcome customers. We informed customers on Tuesday that there was no need for them to take action.
